About the Authors

Jeff McCord (original author). Since starting his professional career as an early computer game designer in 1982, Jeff McCord has pursued many other vocations and activities -- including layout/production artist in New York for The Villiage Voice and National Lampoon, a freelance graphic designer and photoshop/prepress guru, a house restoration expert, and a board game designer.

In addition, Jeff helped found Fargoal, LLC with business partners, Paul Pridham and Elias Pschernig, and Playmasons, LLC with business parter, Steve Shippert. Playmasons also owns and operates the “Emerald City Search” in Seattle — a yearly public ‘treasure hunt’ — and has founded a new game company with Steve called Trouble Brothers, LLC. All of these ventures revolve around Jeff's love of games and game design.
